The lemur is native to Madagascar throughout the next 1,000 years, the island will turn to marshland because of the rapid temperature change in the atmosphere, which causes the icebergs to melt causing the water levels to rise. The lemures went from their natural color of gray to a shade of yellow to be able to blend into the trees, which have now turned into thin saplings. Also, their feet have evolved into flippers, so they swim, and catch prey. Their tails have also shortened, because of the rising temperatures. The once lushes trees of Madagascar have turned into thin tan saplings. So it is much easier for the lemurs to stabilize themself on the branches with shorter tails.
