Turtoise

The changes I made to my animal (now a Turtoise) are based on the rainforests it lives in now changing to dry, desert-like areas. I elongated its legs, so it can run faster from predators because in the desert with not as much prey, predators will be hunting what they can. I gave it sharp teeth because if it lives in a desert-like area there won’t be many plants and it will need to eat insects and other things. I gave the turtle a taller shell so that he can drink as much water as possible and retain some as well because deserts don’t have too many places to drink from. It can store water for as long as needed, and his tail can soak up water from a small vent on the bottom.
