Rainforest Animal Essay

The animal that I chose was the toucan, and I do not think it would survive in the rainforest in the future. I would think that because the trees are actively burning in the rainforest, most of the toucans in the area would lose their homes. Food would also be scarce in the areas because of the fires, and the smoke ruining the food for the animals to eat. Also, plant life would die as well, and some plants are a source of medicine. Next is adaptation; one way for the toucan to adapt in the area would be to scavenge on the rainforest floors to see if they can find any bushes with berries or extra food on the ground. Another way for them is to migrate away from the rainforest or find an uninhabited part of the rainforest that is not burned down.
