Today, chameleons have special adaptations that help them live in their habitat, the rainforest. Their eyes can go in different directions at the same time to spot predators and food. Their skin can camouflage to blend in with their habitat. Their tail is powerful enough to knock a predator over, even twice its size. Their three fingered claws can grip onto branches. Their tongue can shoot out to grab prey in less than a second. In the future, the rainforest will become a savanna because the sun will be stronger and with pollution, it will destroy the rainforest. Chameleons would be orange to blend in and grow in size to be able to eat more types of animals and be a better predator. Their 20-foot long tongue could stun an opponent, and their skin armored to protect them. Their spikes are larger and poisonous, their tail longer and stronger.
