The anaconda has adapted for being in the rain forest, not a marsh. It has camouflage, huge size, taste-based tracking, a strong jaw, and sharp teeth! But if, because of climate change, the anaconda needed to adapt to the rising sea water and temperature? Water is rising, so anacondas will need to breathe through their skin like frogs. They need venomous fangs if they encounter other predators that have adapted to a marshland environment. Anacondas will also need a counter shading color like tan. This way, it can blend in with the ocean and land. The temperature continues to rise, so the anaconda will have scales that repel heat a little bit so they won’t be too hot or too cold. Anacondas will need to track prey by blood and taste. This new anaconda has a chance of survival if climate change continues to affect Earth.
