The present adaptations for the Okapi’s 6are that they live in a dark and dense area and since they have dark bodies they can easily blend into their habitat. They have big ears so they can sense predators that are hidden and the cool thing is that they have striped hindquarters so the predators have a hard time seeing them. If the rain forest were to have a humongous drought then the okapi’s new adaptations in my opinion would be instead of their striped hindquarters they could adapt and get rid of the white part so it is not striped there for it would be harder for predators to find them. Since the area won't be so dense and dark they will have to find a way to make their skin lighter so the predators can't see them as well. That is all for my Future Creatures Project.
