The ocelot or also known as the Leopardus, lives in the South American rainforests. They adapted by learning to swim, they also have night vision for hunting. Some other adaptations include sharp back teeth for chewing, and pointed fangs for killing bites. In the future maybe even thousands of years of global warming animals have to adapt to survive. The environment will change into a swamp. I predict the ocelot will have webbed feet for improved swimming. And they will have to learn to be pescetarians which is the diet that consists of plants and fish. They will adapt to getting a bigger lung capacity to hunt underwater efficiently. Also they will lose body fat and become leaner to be faster at swimming. They will become approximately 19 to 31 pounds. This would help them survive by giving them the capability to feed themselves, and learn to travel by swimming.
