Leopards have adaptations that help them live in the Amazon Rain Forest. Leopards have strong and fast bodies that can outrun its predator. They also have enormous heads and jaws. Leopards are nocturnal because they have more of an advantage of getting away from the heat in the day. They have claws that can attack and capture prey to eat. Due to climate change, leopards must adapt to a wetter environment. They will have to change their adaptations to help them survive. Leopards have bright fur that stands out. They will need to change their fur and whiskers to black and brown to blend in under dark waters. Since leopards can't swim well, their paws become webbed. Also, leopards can't breath under water so they will have to grow gills to adapt to breathing underwater. Leopards will now survive in their new environment with the help of their new adaptations.
