The world is getting hotter, and poison dart frogs suffer as a result. Poison dart frogs have toxins in their skin that can kill predators. Frogs’ bright color warns predators not to eat the frog. They have an excellent sense of vision to help eat prey. With the climate changing, these special frogs will need to live in a warmer, dryer environment. To survive, poison dart frogs could use a big forehead of skin to shield their faces from the sun. Frogs are cold-blooded now, but maybe they could adapt by having warm blood. Also to help disguise them from predators, some animals in warm places have chromatophores to blend into their environment. I would like poison dart frogs to have this ability. It helps animals to blend into its environment to help them stay protected in hot swamps. Unfortunately the climate is changing faster than animals can adapt.
