Because of climate change, the wonderful habitat of most parrots could be turned into nothing but shrublands in less than one hundred years. The lack of trees in shrublands will make parrots be more used to staying low near the ground instead of high in the trees. Maybe their feet will be more used to running and walking. I looked at an ostrich’s feet as an example, and I think that they could be a little thicker and stiffer. Now that they’re not high up in the trees, it’ll be harder to stay away from predators. Perhaps they need another way to hide from them. Their vibrant colors could turn into more of a beige or green type of color to camouflage. Another thing is that they won’t be flying as much, and their wings could be weaker. I think this could happen from about 100-500 years from now.
