Toucan

The life of a toucan will be much different in a 1000 years. He has no feathers so instead of flying he waddles like a penguin. In place of feathers he has tan, rough skin. His beak has become flat in front so he can scrape bugs off the tree into his mouth. The toucan has stayed in the tree ever since losing the ability to fly so he opens his mouth when it rains to get water. Due to climate change he lives high in the tree so when the floods come the water can not reach him. When predators come the toucan makes a loud noise that hurts their ears. The toucan manages to survive, although it's hard.
