I chose the squirrel monkey that lives in the Amazon rainforest. As of now, there are fruits, nuts, and insects, and beautiful epiphytes. There are about 500 squirrel monkeys left in the Amazon rainforest, but in 1970 there were about 200,000 squirrel monkeys. Most have been killed by deforestation. But in the future Climate change is taking over, and the Amazon rainforest is going through a drought. and the animals will be forced to move out of the Amazon rainforest. Furthermore, in thousands of years, the population will drop. The squirrel monkey is highly likely to become endangered species but when the rainforest becomes a desert from the heat all the epiphytes will be dry and will have no life. This meaning no food and they will starve.
