In the future, the Amazon rainforest might get destroyed, which means the rainforest animals, such as the toucan, will have to adapt. There would be a lot more droughts. The toucan could develop a big belly to store water, like the camel. When it floods, the toucan would need to find shelter, so I think that it's feathers should be waterproof, the muscles of the toucan be stronger, and the overall body to be tougher in case the toucan gets washed away in a storm. The toucan's bill will also need to grow shorter and the overall body might need to get shorter. That is how I think the toucan will adapt in the future.
