In a thousand years I predict that a jaguar habitat will turn from a lush rainforest to a dry desert landscape. The jaguar’s current light brown fur with stripes and spots will become dark brown with spots to help camouflage itself from predators at night and to adapt to the changes in its environment. Also, I think the jaguars will become faster due to the environmental changes that will have less lush green trees and more open dry land to roam. They will become stronger because animals in the desert are tough and more elusive. The jaguar will make its home in a dry riverbed and will hunt snakes and lizards for its meals.
