Parrots are vertebrate animals. Rising temperatures and change in weather affects parrots' ability to find food, reproduce, etc. Over time, this can affect their populations. It is possible they could become extinct if they can't find food, the right conditions to reproduce, etc. However, they could adapt to the effects of climate change by possibly migrating to cooler environments.
