In the first illustration, Grumpy JJ the jaguar is the apex predator in the tropical rain forests of Central and South America. Jaguars are the largest big cats in the Americas. It has the strongest bite of any of the big cats. Jaguars rely on stalking and ambushing, and they also have superior night vision. The second illustration shows that after a thousand years of climate change, the jaguar must adapt to its new environment. Due to many habitat changes like inland rain forests becoming deserts, the jaguar had to change with it. The jaguar now has a plain sand - colored coat with no pattern, and needs to defend itself from the overpopulation of humans. The jaguar's tail is longer now, because similar to the leopard, it must take its prey into the trees. As you can see, Grumpy JJ the jaguar went through many adaptations.
