My creature is a jaguar, a big cat that lives in tropical forests. It can also live near a river or lake in those forests, so it can drink water and eat fish from that river or lake. There are a lot of changes that can ruin the environment where jaguars live. People are capturing land for farming by cutting trees from these forests. Some people are creating factories in these forests, thereby, polluting environment by releasing toxic gas. Jaguars and other animals can’t live there anymore because of human migrations. These adaptations will be very useful for jaguars to survive in a new habitat: With super hearing, they are able to hear a predator coming far away. With thick fur, they can survive in cold places distant from human population. With sharp and strong paws, they can dig a hole very fast and stay inside without being homeless.
