In the present, Jaguar’s are a low populated animal that are at the apex of the food chain. They have a yellow-ish color fur for camouflage and a slightly thick fur for warmth. In the future I expect climate change and higher sea levels which means that Jaguars need to evolve and adapt in order to thrive. In the future, scientists expect for temperature to rise which means that Jaguar will have less fur. This is because a thinner amount of fur will reduce body heat and less resistance when they sprint. Furthermore, the sea levels will increase which might make rainforest turn into low density forests. In this habitat, the grass is more green which means that Jaguar’s fur will turn from a yellow/black color into a green-ish color. Since humans hunt Jaguar for it’s special fur, a different color fur may decrease the amount of Jaguar’s killed.
