The Amazon Climbing Salamander is a remarkable reptile that is brown and looks like a stick. Amazon Climbing Salamanders live in the Amazon Rainforest. The main threat to the Amazon Climbing Salamander is habitat loss. In the future, I think the Salamander's habitat will be submerged in water. I think this because of the ice caps that are melting today. The Amazon river would submerge the land. The Salamander would need to evolve. I think the salamander would grow gills so that they can breathe underwater. They would grow larger so that they can defend themselves from dangerous river animals like big fish. They would develop fins on their top and sides. They will get sharper teeth and lose their front legs. Their body color would change from a stick that fits their habitat now, into a greyish rounder animal that could look like a rock on the river floor.
