Jaguars have bright orange fur and large brown rosettes. They hunt their prey through stealth and have a bite force strong enough to crush a human skull. The only reason they are able to hunt this way is due to the large canopy formed by large trees. They hide within these leaves, and then pounce at the right moment and ambush their prey. Sadly, this method of hunting will no longer be available for these large cats if all the trees in the rainforest are cut down. That's why Jaguars must adapt. Instead of relying on stealth alone to hunt, Jaguars must learn to attack their prey head-on. I imagine that they will develop darker coats, which will help them blend in with their environment. I can also see them developing features similar to Cheetahs, which will allow them to chase after their prey over open land.
