In the future a drought might occur in the rainforest and severely harm the animals and vegetation. Amazon climbing salamanders are accustomed to the rain ,but how will salamanders adapt to the new environment? Salamanders will evolve to start breathing from their mouth instead of from their skin. Salamanders currently breathe through their skin which must be moist so the oxygen can pass. The salamanders will also develop venom to kill animals and sharp teeth to eat fat from their prey. They will also develop the capability to camouflage. With camouflage the salamander can climb onto a big animal, use venom to paralyze and kill their prey, and use their sharp teeth to eat nutrient filled fat from their prey’s body.
