The Toucans of 3500 A.D

The year is 3500 AD. Due to global warming, the rainforest has flooded. All of the ground fruits and berries of the rainforests have adapted survive in the water. However, this has made it harder for animals, such as the toucan, to get their meals. As a result, toucans have adapted as well. These magnificent birds now have nostrils at the back of their head. This adaptation enables the birds to stick their heads under shallow water. So they can reach the fruits and fish they need.
