The creatures in the rainforest face a need for heavy change in the structure of their bodies in order to survive the rapidly changing climate due to humans. I will focus on one such animal, the toucan. Currently, the toucan lives in the rainforests of south and central America. They can eat anything, from small birds to fruits. They have large beaks suitable for eating relatively large animals and nuts. As climate change happens, however, they are starting to move to more mountainous regions. This could potentially be very dangerous as they are not adaptive to these environments. The toucan will likely adapt to this by either eating less in their new environments or by adapting to higher temperatures, perhaps by growing more fur. They could also make their bodies smaller so they can eat less and avoid destroying the environments in their new habitats.
