Brown Throated 3 toed sloth

- Because of deforestation a lot of trees are disappearing making it so sloths loose their homes and have to live on the ground. Because of this I think that sloths would use their long nails to dig burrows underground. - Sloths diet only consists of leaves so I think that it would have to expand to insects as well because of the shortage of vegetation. - I think that they would have thinner hair because the world will get much hotter due to global warming. - Sloths have a slow metabolism so that could be dangerous so as self-defense I think they would need to use their long nails to threaten predators. - Sloths are blind in the daylight so I think that they would be nocturnal in the future
