A rainforest is a lush green forest with lots of rain, trees, and animals. I have chosen the scarlet macaw to research and imagine its adaptation to climate change and the future. The scarlet macaw is one of the biggest birds in the rainforest. It is very colorful and beautiful. In the present, it eats fruits and little bugs. The macaw babies are born without feathers. In the future, due to climate change, the forest will become smaller and trees will be cut for agriculture and making furniture. Then the macaws will have to adapt by feeding on bugs and ants in the soil. since there are not as many trees, the macaws will change to dull colors to escape from predators. So, to stop this from happening all of us should plant more fruit trees for macaws and stop cutting the rainforest.
