MY NEW ANIMAL PROJECT

The Sumatran Tiger lives in the rainforests of Indonesia. The tiger is well adapted to its warm and wet environment. It has developed strong teeth and retractable claws for hunting prey and climbing trees. The tiger has developed long facial fur and whiskers. The tiger’s whiskers help the tiger navigate and find the prey while its thick facial fur gives it protection from the rainforest. Male tigers are very territorial and don’t like other tigers in their territory but females rarely ever care about their territory. In the future when the trees all are cut down there will be only grass. So my tiger will not have stripes because it will not have to blend in with the trees. Now my tiger will be a very little orange so it can blend in with the tall grass. It will have to be faster so it can catch prey.
