My animal is the ocelot. It lives in the rainforest where it is hot and humid. The rainforest in the future, about a thousand years from now, will become an evergreen forest where it is crisp and breezy. I think the ocelot would like the evergreen forest because it gets plenty of water and it has lots of trees. But to be able to adapt, from a rainforest to an evergreen forest, the ocelot would have to be okay with cold weather. It will have to adapt to the colder and drier climate by growing a thicker fur coat to keep the warmth. Or staying in packs and huddling together, sharing the warmth. The biggest change might be the diet. Because there are no monkeys in a evergreen forest so they might have to change to something they can find in the evergreen forest.
