The Black Handed Spider Monkey

The animal that I chose is the Black-handed spider monkey. Its natural habitat is a healthy tropical rainforest located in different parts of the world. This animal almost never comes to the ground and prefers to stay in the trees. I imagine in the future the rainforest due to humans chopping down trees and human negligence starting forest fires; the rainforests will turn into grassland. In my present drawing the spider monkey is its natural habitat hanging from a tree limb. In my future drawing the spider monkey has no trees to climb so now it walks on branches that have fallen to the ground from old trees. The spider monkey now has to adjust to its new environment. Its fur will grow in the winter and shed in the spring because of the wet and dry season in the grasslands.
