Ring-Tailed Lemurs are an intelligent and endangered species. They are primates only found on the African Island of Madagascar. They live in rainforests happily with their friends and family. People cut down rain forests to get timber and to build farms or cities. Lemurs slowly losing their habitat. They will be endangered and limit only to zoos in small numbers. In about 100 years, we may be able to see several adaptations. They have big yellow eyes to see predators. In the future, they won’t need that and their eyes will be weaker because the zoo won’t have predators. Their long snout will not be required to smell and find food anymore because the food will be given to them. The long arms and legs which helped them to jump from tree to tree and move faster will not be required and they will become shorter.
