Komodo Dragon Adaptations

The Komodo Dragon lives in tropical and subtropical rainforests. Komodo Dragons rely on camouflage and patience for food. Komodo Dragons are brownish and lighter on their bellies. Komodo Dragons are venomous and can cause anticoagulation and hypotension. They are apex predators and are cannibals. So they mostly die due to larger Komodo Dragons. Scientists stated that Komodo Dragons don't produce venom like snakes but their saliva is venomous. Komodo Dragons have long, sharp claws for catching prey. Climate change is affecting them with deforestation. So, their prey travel and then they have no food and the Komodo Dragon will starve. I chose an adaptation of camouflage like chameleons because they won’t be able to camouflage with trees and grass very well. So, they need to change colors.
