Today, in the rainforests, Macaws have special ways to adapt. Macaws eat seeds, nuts, berries and vegetation such as leaf buds in the wild. They also use their beaks to crack open seeds. They are big parrots and really colorful and beautiful. Macaws usually live 50 years, but they're critically endangered. In the future, Macaws will have to adapt a lot. With not a lot of trees to cover the sun, they'll have to adapt to their new dry home. It will have to adapt to the new weather and its new habitat. I'd imagine they would be flying a lot more to try and find shade to cool down. They would also need lots of water to stay hydrated.
