My present tropical rainforest creature is a toco toucan. It has black feathers and a colorful, orange beak. A possible future version of the toco toucan is one that lives in the swamplands. This future toucan would be about three-fourths of the present toco toucan. To blend in with the swamp habitat, its beak and feathers are duller in color. The toucan’s jet black feathers turn a little brownish. Its beak is thin, making it easier to catch prey (insects, little birds, rodents, etc.). Its body is lighter, which makes it easier to move.
