Lions after 5 thousand years

The animal is chose for my future creatures project is a lion. I chose this animal because this animal is a huge part of the animal kingdom. Lions are predators, predators eat large animals that would be a bother to humans, and example being antelopes. After about 5 thousand years, due to effects of climate change, the looks of lions have changed. First, the male would not have a furry mane, due to eat being way hotter than current time, it could overheat. Second, the female would be smaller, it would be 4 and a half feet long. And are a bit more orange in shade. The way to identify them would be by whiskers, males have them whereas females do not
