Indian giant squirrels live by themselves or in pairs. They live in rainforests and woodlands of India. Their predators are birds of prey and leopards. Giant squirrels like to eat fruit, flowers, nuts, tree bark, insects, and bird eggs. They are diurnal, and do everything in the daytime. If the forest got too cold due to climate change, they might make a burrow underground to stay warm and eat different kinds of food. Their bodies could adapt by being better diggers and seeing better in the dark. I chose these squirrels because I saw a picture and they are cute and my favorite colors - red and blue - and I love squirrels.
