A Revitalized World

My animal is the toto toucan. This toucan is popular species due to its face being know across the world. It currently lives found in semi open habitats throughout a large part of central and eastern South America. Now, due to many effects of global warming and climate change these birds will mostly have to change their skin color from bright rainbowfish to a green as the coastlines of we where they reside will either be flooded or become swamps. They would have to blend in to their environment as the terrain would be a dark green which would force it to become green or become easy prey. It would also be forced to shed fur early as rising temperature would cause it to overheat. One more thing is that they would have to adapt their lungs to filter more CO2 as they're homes would be polluted with co2 emissions.
