I am predicting that the capuchin monkey will turn into the swimming munkis. Their lush, green forest landscape will turn into a desert with many oases with trees. They will make their homes in holes in the trees and at the bases of trees. Their feet will become a bit webbed, and their tail will become a bit wider so they can leap into the water if a predator comes near. They’ll still keep most of their current diet, but they’ll also dive into the water and catch fish. They’ll become smarter. If a drought lasts long, they will be able to dig easier to get to water underground. Their fur will become lighter, so they can blend in with their surroundings more. They will also become smaller, so they’re harder to spot by predators. They’ll also have less of a lifespan due to less food.
