The tree kangaroos are a group of mammals that are considered endangered due to hunting and habitat destruction. They are inhabitants of tropical rain forests in New Guinea and far northeastern Queensland and other islands in the region. They eat leaves, ferns, moss, tree bark, and flowers. If climate change was the happen it would affect them and mostly their habitat. Droughts can cause early leaf drops and strong winds can cause plants/leaves to die suddenly. This is bad since their food would start to be scarce. It would be since their leaves/ plant life would die and fall out faster. This would affect them since there aren’t that many in the world and with no food, there will be even less. Thus, climate change would affect tree kangaroos negatively.
