New Name: Amphbara

The Amphbara’s defense mechanism will be to go underwater for long periods of time. Due to being hunted by large animals, going deep under water will help them survive more easily from maximum getting hunted by animals. Due to Capybaras already being able to go underwater for a of 5 minutes, the adaptation of the Capybara would be they grow gills so they could go underwater easier. Over the many years capybaras have plunged underwater to escape predators, so in a long term occasion for over 700 years or more Capybaras will start to grow better breathing underwater thus starting to grow gills.
