The adaptions of spider monkey

The animal I made was a spider monkey who lives in the tropical forest. The reason they are called spider monkeys is because they use their tails to hang while dangling in the trees. The spider monkeys usually swing from tree to tree grabbing fruits and seeds. In the future the forest will become a dry waste land. With A scarce amount of trees and some pools of water. In order for the spider monkey to survive some adaptations they will have are longer boney fingers to pick insects from the ground. Their fur will also become more tuff and scale-like to protect from sand and to collect water. The first photo shows a spider monkey in its present environment swinging in the branches. The second photo is a spider monkey in its future habitat. It has scaly fur for protection and collects water and boney fingers for food.
