The Golden lion has long sharp fingers to dig holes or dissect insects. to grip the trees they live in. Golden lion’s live along southeastern Brazil. They live in the treetops. It's hot and it's wet since the tree’s are so tall. They have to have good climbing skills. That's why they have those long fingers.
A golden lion is endangered . There are about 2,500 of them left. People like to hunt them because of their golden fur . If people keep cutting down the trees, golden lions will probably adapt to being on the ground. In 500 years golden lions will have probably adapted to being on the ground. They need to move quicker to catch prey or stay away from predators . Birds, snakes are predators so if they are on the ground and quicker they can't catch them. They might also have paws instead of hands
