Red eyed tree frog lives in the rainforest. It can climb trees because of its long limbs and sucker pads on its fingers. The color of the frog which is dark green with a white stomach helps it to blend in with the environment. They eat insects to survive. They live on a tree and because of its green color can blend in with the leaves. Over time fires and humans have destroyed trees and plants changing the environment. Red-eyed tree frog lives in the canopy layer on branches, tree trunks and even underneath tree leaves. Without the trees there will be no place for frog to live or insects to eat. In the new environment the frog will have to live on the ground layer. The frog's limbs have gotten shorter and now have tot grass. The body color is dull. The eyes got blue. The frog eats grass.
