Since the Cock-of-The-Rock lives in mountains it has strong claws and legs to grip onto rocks and build their nests. Since female Cock-of-The-Rocks also raises her baby birds without a male she will need strong claws to get food and defend herself and her kids. The bird eats mostly fruit but it also eats insects and small vertebrates . Since the bird is so colorful it is easy to be seen by predators nearby. If the bird wants to survive in the future its color would need to change to a darker tone. Overtime im sure that some of the mountains and a lot of trees will be gone, so, the birds claws might get smaller and its diet might change if some of the things it eats loses its home. With less trees the birds wings could get bigger, too. Hopefully this bird lives to the future!
