The Siamang past and future

The animal I am researching is a Siamang. My animal lives in the mountains of the Maly peninsula and sumatra. My animal's environment is rainy, has many trees. Siamangs are very acrobatic and agile. Their extra-long arms help them cover up to 10 feet in a single swing. If they’re not swinging through the trees, they’re very likely walking along branches with their arms outstretched to help them keep their balance. In 200 years I think my animal is going to be close to extinction and I think it will not be living in a rain forest. I think my animal will either be in a zoo or as a pet. I think the rain forest will get chopped down do to fire or lumberjacks needing wood. My animal will be endangered and will have a small population. In about 300 years I think my animal will go extinct.
