The scarlet macaw currently has some adaptations that help it survive. One of the few adaptations it currently has is a hard beak so it can break open a nut's outer shell to eat the nut that sits inside. One other adaptation it has is it has wings so that it is able to fly to find more food or to escape predators. Those are some of the adaptations it has right this day. The scarlet macaw’s current environment is a giant rainforest but it could change. A change in its environment could be deforestation so it maybe a wasteland. An adaptation it may get is it will have sharper talons. It may become brown and black. It may also become smaller so that it needs less food to survive. It may also be like the umbrella bird. The way this stuff may help is it can fight and hide.
