The anaconda has a few adaptations such as they can go fully under water except for their nostrils and wait for prey to come by and then they can attack while they are distracted. It also kills its prey by wrapping around it and squeezing it until it stops breathing and dies.
It usually lives in swampy areas and in the Amazon River Basin and if humanity doesn’t stop cutting down trees the amazon rain-forest may disappear so its environment may turn into a plain of dead grass and very small streams of water.
I think if it wanted to survive in its future habitat it would most likely need to change colors to a dark brown or faded yellow to blend into the grass so it can hunt. It would also need to evolve into a smaller size because it wouldn’t have enough food to support its original body.
