About the toucan

The toucan is a black and white bird with a brightly colored beak. It lives in the trees of the rain forest. The rain forest is wet and sunny high in the trees. The toucan has predators of hawks, eagles and owls. It mainly eats fruit. They like to stay in groups of 20 or more birds but sometimes leave while breeding. The toucan will start having a longer beak to fight more predators. I think it will need stronger claws and eat more small animals because the fruit supply will be less. I think it will need longer, stronger wings to fly farther to find food. I think that they might start living in smaller groups for lack of food to feed such a large group. They might stop having so many babies because their won’t be trees to nest and protect them.
