Gorillas that live in the rainforest, have thick, long fur that protects them from the cold and diseases. The thick hair also protects them from insect bites. They mostly live in the Lowland Tropical Rainforest, an environment home to giant trees, colorful birds and a huge variety of awesome animals. In a few hundred years gorilla’s will look the same, just a little bit smaller because of climate change. A gorilla’s environment might change because of all the trees that are being cut down and dying from wildfires. The rainforest will be a hot, dry climate because there are no trees. Gorillas will need to have claws because they can dig big holes under the ground for shade and shelter. That means they will also need to be smaller because they will shrink over the years which will help them to fit in their holes they dig.
