Jaguars have big brown rosettes and brilliant orange fur. They stalk their target in silence and have a jaw that can crush a skull. The enormous canopy generated by large trees is the only reason they are able to hunt in this manner. They hide in these leaves until the proper moment comes to ambush their prey. Unfortunately, if the rainforest's trees are completely taken down, this way of hunting will become obsolete for these enormous cats. That is why the Jaguars must change. Jaguars must learn to attack their prey head-on rather than relying solely on stealth. They will, I believe, acquire darker coats to assist them in blending with their surroundings. I can also envision them gaining Cheetah-like traits that will allow them to hunt down their prey across open land.
