Green Cheek Conure

Because of the absence of trees in the rainforest the conure has to nest on the rainforest floor. Their legs have gotten larger and longer allowing them to run faster from predators but for predators that can outrun them, the green cheek conure has developed venom glands in the inside of their beaks they also have developed a taste for bugs and other small creatures. While the green cheek conure has certainly changed allot they still have kept their green cheeks.
