The Cock Of The Rock better known as the Rupicola Peruvians. This bird's habitat is located in subtropical and cloud forests of the Andes Mountains from Venezuela to Bolivia. Scientists don’t know the bird’s actual numbers. These are very famous birds in Peru. The Rupicola Peruvians mainly eat fruits, but will eat invertebrates and or small vertebrates. The male birds are more vibrant than the females. How the males get the females attention for breeding is by jumping up and down and making little noises. The females make their nests out of mud on ledges or rocks, the females only lay two eggs. The male does not help with any of the duties that the females have to do. Scientists are not worrying about them going extinct because of the large range, so in many years from now they are most likely to still exist.
